A Journey from Mexico to Kazakhstan with 11D19

ELEVEN DANIR19 (11D19) recently coordinated the multimodal transportation of 10 out of gauge heavy pieces of machinery by road and maritime transport from Mexico to Kazakhstan.

Three of the 11D19 strategic branches in Russia, Kazakhstan and Latvia were involved in the project execution.

“Our head office from Latvia arranged pre-carriage from San Luis Potosi, Mexico to Veracruz Port and transportation from Vecaruz Port to Port of St. Petersburg, where our Russian office positioned the trucks for this cargo and delivered cargo to Tengiz in Kazakhstan. For smooth unloading and acceptance of the cargo by consignee – the Kazakhstan office arranged the operations survey.Valds Stunzha, Development Manager.

Each piece of machinery measured 5.45 x 3.16 x 3.15 metres and weighed 32,000 kg/ 32 tonnes each.

Scope of work included:

  • Pre-carriage by trucks in Mexico till Veracruz port.
  • Delivery by Maritime till St. Petersburg port.
  • On-carriage by trucks till Kazakhstan.
  • Operations survey, and control during all transshipments.
  • Operations survey during unloading.
