ALS in Hull was recently commissioned by their client to organise the collection of 12 offshore fender sections and ancillaries from Penglai, China with final delivery to Tarbert Port, Isle of Harris.
The scope of work involved shipping, transportation, unloading of the fenders, and also arranging stevedores, storage, customs, and security escorts.
The dimensions of each fender section were L:8.65m x W:3.80m x H:3.60
The shipment also involved the movement and loading of a 40 ft H/C Container and a 20 ft G.P. containing parts.
