Andreas Enger named as next CEO of Höegh Autoliners

Effective from 08 September 2020, Andreas Enger will be the next Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Höegh Autoliners.

Enger currently serves as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and will take over from current CEO, Thor Jørgen Guttormsen. Andreas will continue to chair Posten, Norway’s state-owned postal service.

Following the planned succession Thor Jørgen will continue to support the company as a non-Executive Director and Senior Advisor.   

Andreas Enger has served as an advisor to Höegh Autoliners for more than a year and became Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in September 2019. In this capacity Andreas has worked closely with Thor Jørgen and the rest of the senior management team in updating our strategy and operating model. 

Prior to joining Höegh Autoliners, Andreas was a partner at Deloitte, leading their Nordic strategy practice. Earlier in his career Andreas was a partner at McKinsey & Co and subsequently held senior executive positions at Norske Skog, PGS and Peterson Packaging.

Andreas holds a MSc in Engineering Cybernetics from NTNU in Norway, and an MBA from INSEAD in France.
