AntwerpXL Returns Live & In-person This Year!

AntwerpXL, the first dedicated meet of the global breakbulk and project cargo community in over two years, will return 7-9 December 2021 at the Antwerp Expo, Belgium.

The international event, which attracts VIP delegates, exhibitors, and expert speakers from all around the world, has been delayed since Spring 2020 due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. Now, due to international progress in vaccination rollout, the subsequent lifting of restrictions and demand from the industry to meet face-to-face again, the award-winning event has been confirmed to return in December this year.

Sophie McKimm, Event Manager for AntwerpXL, says, “We are thrilled to bring the breakbulk and project cargo community together again. The industry has been weathering an unprecedented storm over the last 18 months and we need to all get our heads together, regroup and share ideas of how we can move forward prosperously into 2022.

“I’m incredibly proud of the work we did to keep the industry communicating despite having to delay our main event, but nothing compares to a live, face-to-face exhibition.

“This year we have an amazing conference programme and exclusive VIP programme that we are in the process of finalising. We will be celebrating the next generation of breakbulk professionals with AntwerpXL’s 40 Under 40, and visitors will get an overview of all the latest tech in our Innovation Start-Up Zone. That’s on top of all our normal networking, breakfasts, dinners and receptions.  It’s going to be amazing, bring on December!”
