Arcapita and DSV to Develop State-of-the-Art Logistics Hub in JAFZA

Arcapita Group Holdings Limited (‘Arcapita’) and DSV have announced the construction of a cutting-edge, 30,000-square-meter warehouse in Dubai’s Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA). This strategic move underscores both firms’ commitment to innovation and sustainability in the supply chain industry.

Group AMANA, a regional leader in design-build projects, has been awarded the contract to develop the facility, utilizing modular and offsite construction along with Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology. The construction is expected to be completed within 11 months, setting a new benchmark for efficiency in logistics infrastructure.

The upcoming warehouse will be a game-changer, featuring advanced automation, LEED-certified energy efficiency, and adherence to green building standards. With a storage capacity of 75,000 pallet positions, dedicated hazardous material handling—including lithium batteries—and a covered outdoor storage area, the facility is designed to cater to industries such as healthcare, consumer goods, technology, automotive, and industrial sectors. Additionally, it will provide specialized “white glove” logistics services, catering to high-value and sensitive shipments in the healthcare and luxury goods segments.

This project is a significant milestone in the partnership between Arcapita and DSV. Located within DSV’s JAFZA South Campus, the facility strengthens DSV’s regional footprint, reinforcing Dubai’s position as a major global logistics hub. The collaboration is a direct response to the surging demand for advanced supply chain solutions and sustainable warehousing.

Arcapita’s investment in Jebel Ali aligns with its broader strategy of expanding its industrial real estate portfolio across the GCC. The firm has built a robust platform of over 30 properties, spanning 3.5 million square feet and housing more than 80 tenants, including top-tier international and regional firms.
