BBC Chartering growing family of F500-type vessels in their fleet

The MV BBC SEBASTOPOL was built at Taizhou Sanfu Ship Engineering in Taizhou, China. The vessel is owned and managed by sister company Briese Schiffahrts GmbH & Co. KG in Leer and has a deadweight capacity of 12,325 mtons. At an overall length of 147.2 m and a breadth of 22.8 m, the ship is equipped with two Liebherr heavy-lift cranes with a combined lifting capacity of up to 500 mtons. Her MAN-B&W main engine ensures an economical service speed of 15 knots. The new vessel joined the fleet of BBC Chartering in Taicang in early October and has now concluded her first commercial voyage to the Mediterranean.
