MV BigLift Barentsz was spotted this week in Singapore carrying a 760 mt A-frame and a 1,760 mt slewing platform for OHT’s offshore wind foundation installation vessel Alfa Lift.
OHT’s offshore wind foundation installation vessel Alfa Lift’s crane boom will be transported by sister vessel BigLift Baffin next month.
After a short delay at the Suez Canal, the slewing platform and A-frame sections for Alfa Lift’s Liebherr heavy lift crane arrived in Singapore at the weekend for a short bunker stop.
The components are being transported by BigLift, under contract to OHT, from Rostock, where the vessel departed around 5 weeks ago. She will soon arrive at CMHI in Jiangsu, China for installation.
