Blue Bell Shipping Successfully Executes Breakbulk Shipment

Blue Bell Shipping has successfully completed a breakbulk shipment from Hamriyah, UAE, to Atakas Port in Turkey and onward transport by road to North Iraq. The cargo comprised plant electrical rooms and prefabricated buildings with weights of up to 72mt.

To ensure a smooth and timely delivery, Blue Bell Shipping chartered a multi-purpose vessel from Hamriyah to Atakas Port, bypassing the more congested Turkish ports. This enabled a faster transit with less berth waiting time, mitigating the risk of port congestion.

However, the road transit from Turkey to Iraq presented its own set of challenges. Some of the units were nearly 5m high and over 5m wide, requiring meticulous planning to ensure safe and efficient transportation.

Despite these challenges, Blue Bell Shipping’s team of experts successfully delivered the cargo to its destination in North Iraq, on time and within budget. Their careful planning and execution of the entire shipment demonstrated their commitment to providing top-notch logistics solutions to their clients.
