Blue Water names Anna Ude European projects chief amid logistics expansion

Blue Water Shipping has appointed Anna Ude as Vice President, Projects Europe, putting the former deugro sales executive in charge of developing its project logistics business across the region.

Ude takes up the Hamburg based role on September 1 and will oversee commercial performance, operational development and strategic growth. Her appointment adds another senior project logistics executive to Blue Water as the Danish group expands its management structure around complex energy, infrastructure and industrial cargo.

Ude brings more than 20 years of logistics experience spanning operational, commercial and business development roles.

She most recently served as Regional Head of Sales at deugro, where she was responsible for sales management across Central Europe. Industry records also identify Ude in that position during 2026.

Her earlier career included project logistics and business development positions with DB Schenker and Hansa Meyer Global.

At Blue Water, Ude will be tasked with connecting the company’s local European capabilities while strengthening relationships with customers. The practical challenge is familiar across project forwarding: how does a logistics group turn individual country expertise into a coordinated regional operation?

Ude said the opportunity lies in remaining close to customers and understanding how their requirements are changing.

“The greatest opportunities come from being close to the market and our clients, understanding their needs and anticipating how they are changing,” Ude said.

The appointment follows Blue Water’s recruitment of Andy Tite as Senior Vice President, Projects. Tite joined the company on July 1 with responsibility for its global project logistics strategy covering sectors including energy, infrastructure and mining.

Tite said Ude combines commercial knowledge with operational project logistics experience.

“Europe has always been an important market for project logistics, with significant opportunities both domestically and across trade lanes,” Tite said.

Blue Water already has project logistics operations across Europe and an established presence in sectors including offshore wind, conventional energy, industrial projects and complex cargo transportation.

Ude will work from Hamburg and lead the European Projects organisation, with an initial focus on understanding Blue Water’s existing operations, teams and customer relationships before developing the regional business further.
