Cargo carrier Blue Water has been awarded a breakbulk logistics contract for the Stockyard Hill Wind Farm in Victoria, Australia.
The complex project will involve delivery of 149 turbines via various ports in China and Australia, chartering of 17 full vessels and heavy haulage from the port of Geelong to the project site. In total, 3,000 components measuring almost 1 million cubic meters will be shipped to the site.
“Blue Water’s in-house developed track and trace system Compass Wind will provide full transparency of the cargo movements during the project,” a spokesperson for Blue Water said.
Blue Water operates 55 offices in more than 26 countries worldwide and is headquartered in Esbjerg on the west coast of the Jutland peninsula in southwest Denmark.
