Bolloré Appoints Two New CSR Heads

Bolloré Logistics is continuing the implementation of its CSR action plan and strengthening its team with the appointment of two new CSR Heads: Cécile Roland for France and Camille Vanderghote for the Americas Region.

Harnessing their expertise on environmental issues, the logistics company’s aim will be to develop the company’s CSR strategy and pursue the projects already initiated at local level.

Cécile Roland

Cécile Roland is an environmental engineer and holds a Ph.D. in Waste Recovery from École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées. She is an expert in the environmental assessment and improvement of products and services. Ms Roland joined Bolloré Logistics at the beginning of October after having built up extensive expertise in the construction sector. In coordination with Bolloré Logistics CSR Department, she will be tasked with leading and implementing the CSR strategy in France. The strategy will have three key focuses: the reduction of Bolloré Logistics’ greenhouse gas emissions by 2027 (energy and carbon efficiency of buildings, low-carbon vehicle fleets, etc.), the introduction of a range of green solutions for customers (carbon assessments, alternative transport plans, reduced plastic packaging, etc.) and the commitment of all employees to this strategy (in-house training, AcTogether challenge, etc.).

Camille Vanderghote, who holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering and Management from École Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Paris, joined the Bolloré Logistics CSR Department in 2018. Over the last two years, she has worked on the company’s climate strategy, the production of carbon assessments for customers, the development of internal tools for measuring CO2 emissions, and the launch of the AcTogether inter-company challenge. Based in Mexico since September 2020, Ms Vanderghote will be responsible for developing Bolloré Logistics’ CSR culture in the Americas by promoting eco-responsible solutions to the brand’s customers with a view to positioning Bolloré Logistics as a leader in sustainable development in its sector.

Regarding the environment, the company has committed to reducing its greenhouse gas emissions by 43% in absolute terms for scopes 1 (direct emissions) and 2 (indirect emissions) and to supporting its customers so as to reduce the environmental impact of the supply chain for scope 3 (other indirect emissions).
