BOLLORÉ LOGISTICS: AIMS TO DECARBONIZE ITS SUPPLY CHAIN

In order to manage the pre- and post-delivery flows of its customers from the cargo area to its Machelen warehouse (Belgium), and keen to offer an environmentally friendly solution, Bolloré Logistics Belgium set up at the end of 2022 for its import and export customers, a rotation of trucks running on biofuel. The imperative was to offer a transport solution that would reduce CO2 emissions and thus reduce the carbon footprint.

Trucks running on biofuel now make shuttles in the BRUCARGO zone from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays, and 6 hours on weekends to recover imports.

This project is in line with the commitments made through the Powering Sustainable Logistics CSR program to reduce scope 3 CO2 emissions by 30% by 2030 (base 2019), linked to the performance of transport services. The action on the environment is direct, with biofuel reducing CO2 emissions by 60% and particulate emissions by 80%.

With this new proposal of clean truck, Bolloré Logistics enables its customers to implement solutions at no additional cost that contribute to reducing their carbon footprint and actively participates in the decarbonization objectives of the supply chain.
