Bolloré Logistics Moves to New Site in Fos-sur-Mer

Bolloré Logistics continues to invest in France to improve its logistics and commercial buildings and has announced plans to move its employees at the Fos-sur-Mer branch to a new 4,680 sq. m site.

This new property enjoys a strategic location within a 70,000 sq. m logistics hub in the port area of Fos-sur-Mer and the Grand Port Maritime de Marseille, with easy access to the port and railway lines.

The new building aims to strengthen Bolloré Logistics’ presence in southern France and underscores its determination to support its local customers, including small and mid-sized companies and major groups, in their international expansion. The warehouse is specialised in multi-sector and multi-product logistics operations. It features a temperature-controlled area (15°C to 25°C) with sockets for reefer containers as well as a private storage area for bonded and non-bonded shipping containers.

Bolloré Logistics has seized the opportunity offered by Groupe Mediaco’s investment in a brand-new, 70,000 sq. m logistics hub that meets the highest industry standards to set up its own offices in Fos-sur-Mer as well as a unit for its logistics activities and value-added activities such as healthcare. The site is strategically located in front of the terminals and fits in perfectly with our expansion goals at this major French multi-purpose and multi-modal port,” explained Yann Balagny, Southeast Regional Director at Bolloré Logistics.

The Fos-sur-Mer branch operations are managed by employees with strong multi-business and multi-product expertise in maritime and road transport, as well as customs and logistics management across every link of the supply chain. The Fos-sur-Mer branch has gained specific expertise in the logistics of high-value-added products.

“We are proud of our new location in the Fos-sur-Mer port area. This hub allows us to diversify our logistics activities and strategically positions our business in the eyes of our customers and partners. Our offices are designed to reflect the new Bolloré Logistics corporate identity guidelines to promote well-being. They feature rooms and spaces that foster social interaction, communication, and collaboration,” noted Sandra Aguiar, Manager of the Fos-sur-Mer branch.
