CargoLogicAir (CLA) Appoints Kerr CEO

Breakbulk freight carrier CargoLogicAir has appointed David Kerr as CEO, effective Jan. 1, 2018.

Kerr is to focus on developing specialized logistics solutions for various industries and will be responsible for orchestrating the airline’s strategic growth plans for its freighter fleet and network. He brings experience working in the FMCG, banking and travel industries, most recently as senior vice president of UAE airline Etihad Aviation Group.David Kerr

“David is a highly respected, experienced and well-known air cargo industry executive who will bring new insight into the business and lead CargoLogicAir towards our strategic goal of recognition as one of the leaders in the European airfreight industry,” said Sir John Holmes, CargoLogicAir advisory board chairman.

CargoLogicAir operates globally in partnership with Volga Dnepr subsidiary AirBridgeCargo and at the start of 2016 was awarded its Air Operator Certificate by the UK Civil Aviation Authority.
