The vessel stands out as the world’s largest professional pulp carrier and has earned the distinction of being China’s first carbon-neutral certified vessel by the China Classification Society.
Constructed with an unwavering focus on sustainability, the “GREEN RIZHAO” achieved zero carbon emissions throughout its build process. The vessel boasts a design speed of 15 knots and a cruising range of 25,000 nautical miles, positioning it as a versatile workhorse in the global supply chain.
The ship’s maiden voyage will take it to South America, where it will transport wind power equipment, construction machinery, and containers from domestic ports in China to Brazil.
