The Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange (TISAX) is an internationally recognized standard that sets the bar for IT security within the automotive sector.
For over a decade, Dachser has maintained ISO 27001 certification and consistently complied with Section 8a of Germany’s Federal Office for Information Security Act (BSIG), as outlined by the BSI-KritisV regulation. This recent TISAX certification further cements Dachser’s reputation for high-level information security. Stefan Hohm, Dachser’s Chief Development Officer, emphasized the importance of this achievement: “Success in the TISAX assessment is yet further confirmation that Dachser provides a high level of information security. The rigorous assessment process for the TISAX certification included a thorough evaluation of Dachser’s Corporate IT. The IT services managed from the Head Office in Kempten, Germany, were scrutinized, with a particular focus on the security of the company-run data centers. Impressively, the assessment concluded without any complaints or objections from the auditor, highlighting the robustness of Dachser’s IT infrastructure.
Christian von Rützen, Department Head of IT Security at Dachser, remarked, “Dachser regards the security of customer data as a key mark of quality. That’s why we make it a top priority. We collaborated closely with our automotive customers to ensure we met the exacting criteria required to obtain the TISAX label.”
Dachser’s industry-specific solution, DACHSER Automotive Logistics, plays a pivotal role in the automotive sector. Catering to Tier 1 to Tier 3 automotive suppliers, Dachser offers a customized buyer’s consolidation solution that streamlines global supply chain management. This solution involves consolidating shipments of automotive parts from various European suppliers at a central collection point. These parts are then grouped, loaded into shipping containers, and delivered to manufacturing sites overseas.
