In a significant move to bolster its presence and capabilities, DACHSER USA has relocated its Miami and New York branches to new, more strategically advantageous facilities. These changes, made in the early months of 2024, align with the company’s growth and evolving market demands.
The Miami branch, which moved in early April 2024, is now housed in a Class A office building conveniently situated next to Miami International Airport. This prime location offers not only proximity to the airport but also to two of Florida’s major ports, the Port of Miami and Port Everglades, both just a few miles away. This relocation is a boon for logistics efficiency. Additionally, DACHSER has established a comprehensive storage facility approximately 10 miles from the office, expanding its service portfolio significantly. This facility provides various customer-specific services including pick & pack, assembly, customs clearance, distribution, cross-docking, kitting, and fulfillment solutions. The Miami team is equipped to assist customers in English, Spanish, French, and German, enhancing their accessibility and customer service.
The New York branch has also seen a strategic relocation at the beginning of the year, coinciding with DACHSER’s 50th anniversary in the United States. This milestone underscores the company’s long-standing commitment to its US operations, which began in New York in 1974. The new location, near John F. Kennedy International Airport and Newark Liberty International Airport, offers excellent connectivity for both air and sea freight. This positions DACHSER perfectly to serve the Northeast region more efficiently. The New York branch also occupies a Class A office building and offers a robust airfreight portfolio, including direct import and export consolidation services between the United States and Europe several times a week. Its sea freight services feature weekly LCL services between the US and Europe. The local team is multilingual, supporting customers in English, Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, and German.
DACHSER USA, a subsidiary of the German logistics service provider DACHSER, continues to expand its network in the Eastern United States. In addition to Miami and New York, DACHSER operates branch offices in Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, and Detroit. The company also maintains facilities in Dallas, Texas, and Los Angeles, California, demonstrating its extensive footprint across the country.
These strategic relocations and expansions underscore DACHSER’s commitment to enhancing its service offerings and operational efficiency, positioning itself as a key player in the logistics and freight industry.
