deugro expands offshore wind leadership with Daniel Kjær appointment

HERNING, Denmark, June 8, 2026 — deugro has appointed Daniel Kjær as Vice President, Global Wind Renewable Energy, effective June 1, 2026, as the project logistics specialist strengthens its position in the growing offshore wind sector.

Based in Aarhus, Denmark, Kjær will be responsible for advancing the company’s global offshore wind strategy while linking commercial development with operational execution across regions and business units. His role will focus on expanding offshore wind business development activities, strengthening wind chartering solutions, and enhancing the company’s broader service offering for renewable energy clients.

The appointment comes as offshore wind developers continue to face increasingly complex logistics challenges. Larger turbine components, tighter project schedules, and evolving supply chains have increased demand for specialized transport and chartering expertise. In that environment, companies capable of combining project logistics with dedicated maritime solutions are seeking to expand their capabilities and global reach.

Kjær will work closely with teams across deugro’s international network to support customers involved in offshore wind developments. His responsibilities will include driving business opportunities while ensuring operational delivery remains aligned with client requirements.

Speaking about his new role, Kjær said the company already has a strong foundation within offshore wind and chartering and that he sees an opportunity to build further on those capabilities.
