
Hanau, Germany – March 27, 2025 – deugro has appointed Steffen Behrens as its new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), effective immediately. Behrens, who has been with the company since 2017, previously led and expanded deugro’s operations in the Middle East from Dubai.
With over two decades of experience in project logistics, Behrens has worked in key markets such as the U.A.E., China, and Germany. His expertise spans leadership roles at deugro and other logistics firms, demonstrating a deep understanding of the sector. In 2022, he was named President – Middle East, a position in which he played a crucial role in strengthening the company’s presence in the region.
During the transition, Behrens will continue to serve in his current role alongside his CCO responsibilities until September 1, when he will fully assume the position. His appointment marks a strategic move by deugro, reinforcing its commitment to internal talent development and leadership continuity.
