Marine and engineering consultancy LOC has opened an office in Hamburg as it aims to develop its renewable and shipping services in Europe.
The office is to be led by Christoph Ruck and Emek Ersin Takmaz, both former Hansa Heavy Lift employees.
Christoph Ruck is a naval architect and welding engineer with nine years of experience working with German ship-owning companies specialized in the heavy lift and project logistics industry. He also has five years of experience with classification society DNV GL.
Emek Ersin Takmaz, who is also a naval architect, has previously been responsible for heavy lift and project cargo operations across the renewable energy, infrastructure and oil and gas sectors at Hansa Heavy Lift.
