Fagioli was contracted by Saipem for the Calvados Offshore Wind Farm marshalling yard services

The project, which is due to be executed by Fagioli between 2023 and 2024, comprises several activities at the BOW Terminal in Vlissingen.

Fagioli, with its wide range of heavy transport and lifting equipment, will be in charge for the offloading operations in 2023 and the loading activity in 2024 from/to client Vessels of 64 Offshore Wind Farm Foundation items composed of No. 64 Monopiles, weighing up to 1,000 ton, and No. 64 Transition Pieces up to  600 ton. Fagioli is providing Saipem a marshalling yard of more than 120,000 m² of quay and storage area, rented for the purpose.

The operations include the heavy lifting, relocation, heavy transport and storage activities at marshalling yard (a depot for the storage of items after their manufacturing in a dedicated area and just before the offshore installation campaign).
