Hansa Meyer Ships Rail Cargo on Container Vessel

Hansa Meyer’s logistic solutions division recently safely delivered two ROBEL railway construction and maintenance machines to Japan.

Hansa Meyer is bucking the latest trend of shipping containers via breakbulk or multipurpose vessels. Instead, they are shipping breakbulk via a container vessel.

The rail units, weighing approx. 60 tonnes each were shipped as breakbulk cargo from Germany to Japan on a container vessel.
