We have seen that its important for heavy lift and oversized carriers, crane companies, rigging companies etc to be part of a group to promote and market their services as well as form a quality network of logistics services suppliers.
To answer to the demand, HeavyLift.Club has been created to create a network organization that will serve not only the freight forwarders market but also the shippers or cargo owners directly.
There are many network organizations out thee but HeavyLift.Club will make a big difference by also offering several processes to help and streamline the providers if this is not already in place. It will also start auditing the processes of its members and issue HLC quality
assurances to its members so that the industry is quickly aware of what the level of professionalism they are dealing with.
HLC is also working on training programs for its members as well as the shippers in order to bring parties together. Additionally there will be regional vendor days organized by HLC to bring members and shippers in face to face sessions where know how and expertise are being exchanged. We were also notified that they are working on a shared booth at the Breakbulk conference in Bremen in May 2018 where several of the regional HeavyLift.Club members shall exhibit their services to the industry.
HeavyLift.Club is open for members from different categories, like heavy lift haulage, rigging, transportation, engineering, ocean liners, airlines, terminal operators etc.
