As per September 1, Heerema Marine Contractors’ one-tier Board will consist of two Non-Executive Members, Pieter Heerema, and Nico Pronk and two Executive Members consisting of CEO, Koos-Jan van Brouwershaven and CFO, Wijnand Tutuarima.
With the aim to shorten reporting lines and improving the Company’s efficiency a further redesign of the organization has taken place, resulting in the creation of three Business Units, each lead by a Business Unit Director: Transport and Installation – Michel Hendriks; Decommissioning – Jeroen van Oosten and Wind – Koen van der Perk. Jan van Akkeren remains responsible for Operations and all Services will be combined under the responsibility of David Blackmon. As per January 1, 2019, a new position Strategy and Technology (Innovation) will be led by Peter de Bree.
Saskia Rijtema who fulfilled the function of COO has decided to leave the company. We thank Saskia for her dedication and professionalism during the years she worked for the company and wish her all the best for both her private life as well as for furthering her professional career.
