The Dogger Bank Wind Farm, a joint venture between SSE Renewables, Equinor, and Vårgrønn, has taken a significant step towards completion of its second phase with the successful installation of the Dogger Bank B offshore substation jacket. This milestone was accomplished by Heerema Marine Contractors, who completed the task on behalf of their client, Saipem.
The Dogger Bank Wind Farm will consist of 277 wind turbines and is set to become the world’s largest offshore wind farm. With this latest achievement, the project is well on its way to generating sustainable energy for the UK and beyond.
