Hitachi ABB recently coordinated the shipment of three transformers to Lubmin, Germany for one of their main customers there.
The Hitachi ABB logistics team combined and coordinated the delivery of three 450MVAS transformers from their Power Grids factories located in Ludvika, Sweden and BadHonnef, Germany, to Lubmin Port, Germany, and onward to the final site.
This was a multimodal transportation project involving rail transportation, barge, coaster, and floating crane.
