Intermarine Expands Fleet and Launches Intermarine Bulk Carriers

Intermarine, a prominent player in the maritime industry, marks a significant milestone as it launches Intermarine Bulk Carriers, expanding its portfolio to include bulk shipping services. The company, known for its expertise in liner services and project cargo, continues its growth trajectory by integrating bulk shipping into its operations.

With the addition of two F300 vessels to its fleet, Intermarine strengthens its position in the market, bringing its total fleet count to 30 units. These vessels, equipped with reliable NMF cranes and robust MAK main engines, exemplify Intermarine’s commitment to delivering top-notch services to its clientele.

Under the newly formed Intermarine Bulk Carriers brand, the company will commercially manage Harren Group’s bulk carriers, comprising six units with a combined deadweight of 350,000 tonnes. This strategic move enables Intermarine to offer a comprehensive suite of services, encompassing both multipurpose (MPP) vessels and ECO OHBS Handysize bulk tonnage.

Richard Seeg, President of Intermarine, expresses optimism about the synergies between MPP and bulk tonnage, stating, “This move puts Intermarine in a bigger and better position. The synergies between MPP and bulk tonnage will take us to a new level.”

Svend Andersen, CEO of Intermarine, emphasizes the benefits for customers, highlighting the greater choices and more efficient solutions that will result from merging all MPP and bulk forces. Lars Rasmussen, COO of Intermarine, adds that the expansion will open up new markets and customer groups, positioning Intermarine for sustained growth and success.

The management team of Intermarine Bulk Carriers, comprising industry veterans such as Dr. Martin Harren, Lars Rasmussen, Capt. Joachim Zeppenfeld, and Jan-Philipp Rauno, underscores the company’s commitment to excellence and market leadership.

In addition to the launch of Intermarine Bulk Carriers, Intermarine is pleased to welcome two new MPP entrants, MV Industrial Ursula and MV Industrial Katharina. These optimized vessels, equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, further enhance Intermarine’s capabilities in serving its diverse clientele.

As part of the SAL-Intermarine Group, which represents all Harren Group heavy lift and MPP activities, Intermarine continues to collaborate closely with its partners to deliver exceptional services to customers worldwide. With a joint fleet of 65 vessels, the group remains committed to offering maximum flexibility and quality services to meet the evolving needs of the maritime industry.
