Jumbo Ships 3 Tall Cranes from China to Italy

The Jumbo Kinetic recently sailed from China via the Cape of Good Hope, to Italy with three tall cranes onboard.

The K-class vessel, fortunately, avoided the Suez Canal at the time it was blocked as with the tall cranes on board they had a limited airdraft and could not pass underneath the Mubarak Peace Bridge in the canal.

Jumbo also reported that the vessel took a pit stop for fuel and crew changes along the way in Durban, South Africa.

“The crew took great care to safely position and balance each of the crane’s legs and booms as per engineering calculations before securely seafastening them for their long journey to Italy together.”
