Jumbo’s Fairmaster and crew have completed the final shipment for the Hornsea Two offshore wind farm project.
Their scope included the design and fabrication of TP grillages and MP saddles and the transportation and precise handling of MPs and TPs from Rostock and Aalborg to Eemshaven.
Over the course of a year, the team has clocked up an impressive number of stats!
· 37 trips in (almost) 12 months.
· 141 MPs | Weights 775t – 1285t | Diameters Ø8,3m, Ø8,m8, Ø9,3m, Ø9,5m.
· 131 TPs | Weight 345t | Diameter Ø6,5m.
· 27 people continuously onboard for 24/7 operations.
· 60 crew in total, over 20 shore staff, and 3 port captains were all closely involved with this project.
· Every sailing for the duration of the project was run on biofuel, helping to reduce our environmental footprint.
· 1 safely executed project due to performance excellence and expert handling shown by all.
