KOGA Shipping Receives MPP Vessel

KOGA Shipping, a global logistics and breakbulk solutions company based in Houston, has taken delivery of MV Vectis Castle.

The modern heavy-lift MPP ship will be employed in their USG/Caribs/NCSA trade lane through December.

KOGO Shipping CEO, Fernando Maruri says on his LinkedIn page, “Breakbulk space in the Americas has dwindled as owners prefer to push available tonnage to Asia and Europe where rates better support the high ship costs. Americas markets will continue to adjust until some balance is reached. Our suggestion to our clients in the Americas (or anywhere) is to book space as early as they can as there is little sign of relief in the near term.”
