LASO Transportes S.A. recently completed a challenging and intricate transportation project, ensuring the delivery of components for five wind towers to the new Stev wind farm. This significant operation, carried out in June 2024, required the expertise of professionals from various fields to handle the complex logistics and coordination involved.
The project involved transporting a total of 50 wind components, including pipes, nacelles, hubs, drives, and blades. These components were sourced from different locations: Aranda do Douro and Santander. The dispersion of loading points added layers of complexity to the service, demanding meticulous planning and coordination to ensure the smooth execution of the operation.
One of the key pieces of equipment used to guarantee the safety and integrity of the transported components was the Power Adapter. This hydraulically adjustable device played a crucial role in optimizing the transport process, ensuring that each part arrived at its destination in optimal condition.
