Mammoet played a pivotal role in the successful transportation of a large tower. The company was granted permission to use their specialized equipment, including trucks and cranes, to safely transport the column to its final destination.
The operation began with the use of Mammoet’s trucks, which expertly moved the column to the inland vessel. The next stage of the operation involved the use of two of Mammoet’s cranes, the LTM 1650 and LTM 1750, which hoisted the column in a tandem lift onto the vessel.
The column was then transported by ship to France, where Mammoet once again used their expertise to transport it to the HMD plant. Finally, the column was brought to its designated location within the plant, where it was successfully installed.
