Mammoet develops a new system to predict carbon output

Mammoet offers its customers a new technology platform that reports emissions data from heavy lifting equipment in real time. The system allows customers to accurately predict and monitor carbon emissions generated by large heavy lifting and transportation projects

This platform is an excellent tool for project planners who need to comply with increasingly stringent emission regulations. Mammoet’s new technology increases the accuracy of this reporting by using data that comes directly from the embedded electronics of the equipment on site

The system, transmits this data via mobile networks from local devices attached to the integrated systems of cranes and SPMT combinations. This data can then be accessed from anywhere in the world, giving governments and other authorities a clear audit trail.

The Netherlands is the first country where the system is in use and it is planned for rollout across Mammoet projects according to customer demand during 2023.
