MV BraveWind Delivered to Rotterdam

This weekend, United Wind Logistics’s MV BraveWind safely arrived in the port of Rotterdam with a deck full of cargo.

Nepa Group claim to have safely delivered the vessel and successfully discharged the cargo of cascos/hulls with the assistance of Rensen Driessen, Bonn & Mees, Drijvende Bokken BV, C. Steinweg Group, Rotterdam Ship Repair B.V. HMC BV, and HBB Hanseatic Break Bulk GmbH.

MV BraveWind is the sister vessel to German flagged MV BoldWind and was handed over to UWL’s German Master in October last year.

The trip to Rotterdam could be her maiden voyage which UWL had previously disclosed the vessel would be from Nantong to Rotterdam. With a deadweight of 10,000 metric tonnes, a deck length of 128 m and width of 28 m, the modern deck carrier is suitable for large heavy cargo. The vessel is equipped with two bow thrusters and a stern thruster and is DP ready.
