New Record Set for Wind Blades in Yangzhou

A new record was set at Yangzhou port, China last month when 120 wind blades were loaded onto one vessel.

According to TPI Composites, the 120 Vestas V150 wind blades were loaded onto Roll Group’s Bigroll Beaufort deck carrier.

The vessel then departed for Vietnam on May 10. The blades measuring 74 m have now started to arrive at their ports of destination in Vietnam.

This project has been completed in cooperation with Roll Group, DSV and TPI Composites Inc.
