In a move that reflects its strategic ambitions in Asia, Noatum Logistics has launched a new regional office serving Beijing and Tianjin, marking a significant step in deepening its footprint across China’s dynamic logistics sector.
Located in one of the country’s busiest economic zones, the new office aims to bolster Noatum Logistics’ capacity to offer localized, end-to-end solutions for domestic and regional supply chains. With a population base exceeding 110 million, the Beijing-Tianjin region represents a dense hub of commercial and industrial activity—and a critical area for logistics providers aiming to keep pace with evolving customer needs.
The office opening was attended by several key executives, including Samir Chaturvedi, Chief International Business Officer at AD Ports Group and CEO of Noatum Logistics; Abdulaziz Zayed Al Shamsi, Regional CEO, AD Ports Group; Ellie Hioe, General Manager, Noatum Logistics Greater China; Carol Wang, General Manager, Noatum Logistics North & East China; Zafer Engin, General Manager, UGR; and Rico Gao, Branch Manager, Noatum Logistics Beijing-Tianjin Region.
The expansion isn’t just symbolic—it’s backed by data. China’s logistics market is expected to grow at an annual rate of 4.6% through 2030, while its GDP is forecasted to maintain a steady 3.5% compound annual growth rate. These projections underscore the increasing demand for integrated logistics services, particularly in industries such as automotive, fashion, pharmaceuticals, FMCG, and e-commerce.
The Beijing-Tianjin office will operate in tandem with AD Ports Group’s Beijing International Office, which will oversee broader commercial and investment activities across China. This dual presence is aimed at enhancing coordination, speeding up decision-making, and scaling services to meet China’s logistical complexities.
What does this mean on the ground? Noatum Logistics is bringing in expanded multimodal freight forwarding services, tailored project logistics, robust e-commerce support, and fully integrated supply chain management—all enhanced by digital infrastructure and local expertise. It’s not just about moving goods; it’s about navigating increasingly sophisticated logistics ecosystems with flexibility and cost-efficiency.
With 15 locations now established across Greater China, the company is betting on scale and proximity to customer needs. While the logistics sector faces constant pressure from shifting supply chains, tighter regulatory frameworks, and rising customer expectations, Noatum Logistics appears to be positioning itself for long-term resilience.
