ONE shifts India USEC route from WIN to INE service

Ocean Network Express will suspend its West India North America service and replace it with a new India North America Express service from August 2026, changing its container shipping network between West India, West Asia and the North America East Coast.

The carrier said the new INE service is intended to improve network stability, sailing frequency and transit times across the trade lane.

The suspended WIN service will make its final sailing with SAN FRANCISCO BRIDGE 0086E/W, scheduled to arrive at Mundra on July 23, 2026, and New York on September 3, 2026.

The new INE rotation will call Nhava Sheva, Mundra, Salalah, New York, Norfolk, Savannah and Charleston before returning to Nhava Sheva.

The first planned sailing will be MV TUCAPEL V 6132W/6232E, with an estimated arrival at Nhava Sheva on August 8, 2026, and New York on September 12, 2026. The launch remains subject to regulatory clearance.

For shippers, the change is not just a new service name. It redraws how cargo moves between India’s west coast and the US East Coast, with Salalah positioned as the West Asia gateway in the loop.

ONE said Colombo cargo to and from New York, Jacksonville, Charleston and Savannah will be handled through the EC3 loop after the change.

That shift matters for shippers using Sri Lanka as a transshipment point. A service change can look simple on paper, but for cargo planners it can affect routing choices, cut off timing, feeder connections and delivery windows.

The move comes as carriers continue to adjust long haul networks around reliability, port coverage and vessel deployment. In practical terms, customers will be watching whether INE provides more predictable sailings than the outgoing WIN product.

ONE said the INE service will reinforce its network across West India, West Asia and the North America East Coast while offering more shipping options.

For exporters and importers moving cargo between India and the United States, the key dates are now clear. WIN ends with SAN FRANCISCO BRIDGE in July from Mundra, while INE begins with MV TUCAPEL from Nhava Sheva in August, pending clearance.
