Port of Brisbane new container park facility for Medlog Oceania

Port of Brisbane marked the completion of Stage 2 of MEDLOG Oceania’s new container park facility on Fisherman Islands.

They look to incorporate sustainable design elements into our new property development projects wherever practical and this new facility is no different.

For this project, a new concrete product trialled from Hanson called Ecotera in the car park and a section of the external hardstand, which helped reduce the overall amount of cement needed (and reducing CO2) without compromising on strength or performance.

The water recycling system installed for the wash bay not only looks impressive, but it will cut water use in this area by up to 95%. The building also includes a 99kW solar system for greener energy generation.
