RICKMERS-LINIE Loading a Mega Yacht in Greece

Heavy Lift, Project Freight and Breakbulk carrier Rickmers-Linie has loaded and transported a mega-yacht from Greece to Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

rs_dalian_webA 340-tonne mega-yacht measuring 50 meters in length which was loaded aboard the vessel Rickmers Dalian at anchorage off the port of Lavrion in Greece. The shipment was then delivered to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, on behalf of an Italian yacht forwarding company.

The loading process was carried utilizing the Rickmers Dalian’s own 640-tonne lisfting gear units and its adjustable tween decks. The 30,000 deadweight-tonne ship is one of nine “Superflex Heavy MPC (Multi Purpose Carriers)”-Class vessels owned and operated by Rickmers-Linie.
