RMS Projects Expand MPP Fleet with 10 Newbuildings

RMS Projects GmbH & Co. KG will expand their fleet with a series of up to 10 MPP/HLV newbuildings.

The first 6 units will be delivered in 2024. The vessels are 14,000dwt, bridge fore, fitted with 2 x 250mt cranes combinable to 500mt.

They will go under DNV class with 1A Ice class and “hatchless” notation. Having 1 hold/1 hatch of 91,80 x 19,80m (lower hold) and 114,10 x 19,80 m (tween deck) and an clear deck area of 125,40 x 25,60m, the vessels are optimised for the carriage of oversized breakbulk and project cargo for the on- and offshore industry.
