Royal Artic Line uses Liebherr cranes to unload supplies in a polar region

Royal Artic Line transported supplies for a research station where temperatures drop below -30° C. Particularly cold and polar regions pose a great challenge for man and machine. The ship had Liebherr cranes on board to unload the goods where cranes were not available. To ensure that the Liebherr ship cranes on the Royal Arctic Line A/S ship were ready for operation even in extreme climatic conditions, they were equipped with a deep temperature package down to -45° C.
