SAL Heavy Lift made a challenging delivery of two shiploaders and a hopper in one shipment. The cranes are destined for the port of Takoradi in Ghana and will significantly improve the port’s turnaround times.
Engineers planned the shipment and delivery of the oversized cargo and selected the M.V. Fairpartner to transport the load. First, the crew loaded the equipment in Jebel Ali, Dubai. The two shiploaders, each weighing 413 tonnes, and the eco hopper weighing 200 tonnes, made this transport a challenge.
