Silvasti, DENZAI Form Alliance to Expand Heavy Lift Services Across Europe and Asia

Kuljetusliike Ville Silvasti Oy and DENZAI International Holdings Pte. Ltd. have formed a capital and business alliance to provide integrated specialized transport, crane and installation services across Europe, Japan and the wider Asia Pacific region.

The partnership combines Silvasti’s heavy transport fleet and Northern European logistics network with DENZAI’s crane capacity, engineering resources and project execution experience. The companies will jointly target work in the energy, offshore wind, heavy lifting and specialized transport sectors.

For developers, engineering contractors and equipment manufacturers, the alliance is intended to create a single contracting route for services that are often purchased separately. Instead of coordinating transport companies, crane operators, engineers and installation teams under different agreements, customers will be able to access the combined resources of both groups.

The companies said they will pool fleets, engineering capabilities and project management resources when pursuing opportunities.

Silvasti is an established provider of specialized transport services in Northern Europe, while DENZAI operates heavy lift cranes and supports complex lifting and installation projects. Their combined offering is expected to cover the movement, lifting and installation of large industrial components.

This structure could be particularly relevant for offshore wind and energy projects, where turbines, transformers, foundations and other oversized components must move through several stages before reaching their final position.

A heavy component may travel hundreds of kilometres by road, pass through a port, move by vessel and then require lifting at a construction site. What happens when each stage is managed in isolation? Delays at one point can quickly affect vessel schedules, crane availability and installation crews.

By planning those activities through a shared project team, Silvasti and DENZAI aim to reduce handover risks and improve coordination between transport, lifting and installation operations.

The geographical reach of the partnership covers Europe, Japan and the Asia Pacific region. This gives both companies access to markets where renewable energy investment and large infrastructure development continue to create demand for heavy transport and crane services.

The companies said the alliance is designed to shorten project schedules and improve reliability as projects become larger and more technically demanding. Customers will also gain access to a broader range of equipment and engineering support through one commercial relationship.

Silvasti and DENZAI said their combined services will be delivered in line with international requirements covering quality, safety and productivity.

The capital partnership will also create a direct link between the companies at board level.

Kohki Uemura, President and CEO of DENZAI, will join Silvasti’s Board of Directors. Silvasti is led by CEO Ville Silvasti.

The appointment gives DENZAI a formal role in Silvasti’s strategic development as the companies pursue joint transport, crane and installation projects across their target markets.
