Spliethoff Acquires New Vessel

Spliethoff has announced the acquisition of an additional P14-type vessel.

The vessel is now renamed ‘Plantijngracht’ (former name: ‘St. Pauli – a P2-1400 type) and has been reflagged to the Dutch register.

With this new acquisition, the Spliethoff P-type series now consists of nine vessels – three P8-type vessels, abt. 20,100 dwt, equipped with two holds and cranes with a combined capacity of 800 mt and six P14-type series – abt 19.450 dwt, two holds and a combined crane capacity of 1,400 mt.

M.V. Plantijngracht is currently in Algeciras undergoing maintenance and will be taken into service soon.

The Spliethoff Group fleet consists of approx. 70 multipurpose and heavy lift vessels for or the breakbulk, project, and heavy transport markets.
