The first wind energy transport arrived in the Port of Pietarsaari

Energy independence is now being sought across Europe and wind power projects are being built at a record pace in Finland. Euroports is strongly involved in the change. “Our strategy is to support environmentally friendly energy production solutions, such as the new wind energy project in Pietarsaari”, says Petteri Sammalisto, Commercial Director of Euroports Finland.

With more than 15 years of experience in handling and storing wind turbines in Rostock, Germany, alternative energy is an important commodity for Euroports. Euroports France and the floating wind turbines in Port-La Nouvelle are an essential part of the development of a green electricity strategy of France.
