thyssenkrupp Mining Technologies teams in Germany and China have jointly completed two 1,300 t Continuous Shipunloaders (CSUs) for one of their valued customers in Turkey.
The Shipunloaders have been loaded fully assembled onboard a heavy lift vessel.
They will be used for unloading coal vessels at the jetty for the nearby coal-fired power plant. Each machine weighs 1.300 t with overall dimensions (L/W/H) of 69 x 20 x 43 metres. In order to minimize the work at the customer’s jetty, the shipunloaders were completely erected in China and will be shipped fully-assembled and in pre-commissioned condition to the customer’s jetty in Turkey.
