UECC Welcomes Auto Advance to Drammen

This week UECC’s Auto Advance, a new multi fuel LNG battery hybrid PCTC, arrived to Drammen, Norway on her maiden voyage.

Glenn Edvardsen, Chief Executive Officer at UECC, “Soon to be seen, three of these environmental friendly vessels around in European ports. Proud moment for everyone working for UECC ,both land based and at sea.”

Assistant Port Director/Port Captain Ivar Vannebo and Operations Manager Morten Hansen presented the port’s crest to Captain Henryk Laskowski.

The Auto Advance emits virtually no sulfur oxides (SOx), 85% less NOx, and 40% less carbon dioxide (CO₂) compared to existing conventional heavy oil-fueled vessels.
