Spanish shipping and logistics operator SUARDIAZ Group has successfully completed a double port operation in the Canary Islands, managing the discharge of more than 2,500 tonnes of bulk salt.

The operation involved two separate unloadings across the archipelago. At the Port of Gran Canaria, the company discharged 1,700 tonnes, while an additional 800 tonnes were unloaded at the Port of Tenerife. The work required precise coordination between teams and local partners to ensure safe and efficient handling of the cargo.

According to the company, the project highlights the significance of detailed planning in bulk operations, where timing and execution are critical for both the port and the supply chain it supports. Each movement was carried out under strict operational standards, reinforcing the need for efficiency and safety in bulk logistics.

SUARDIAZ Group acknowledged the efforts of its staff and external collaborators involved in the process, noting that their contribution was essential in completing the operation without incident. The company continues to play an active role in supporting port logistics across the Canary Islands, particularly in the movement of essential commodities such as salt.
