Hansa Meyer Global Transport has coordinated the haulage of a HP Fuel Gas Mixing Drum in the USA.
At 453.6 tonnes, the drum is the largest component their client has ever fabricated. The unit was moved by road by a custom-designed transporter utilising a flexible dolly outrigger system that worked in tandem with their Goldhofer SL trailers and allowed the team to change the width based upon the bridge width and therefore maximize the weight distribution.
All engineering, design and fabrication was done in house and the transportation was executed precisely and without issues.
