Heavy Lift, Project Freight and Breakbulk carrier Rickmers-Linie has loaded and transported a mega-yacht from Greece to Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
A 340-tonne mega-yacht measuring 50 meters in length which was loaded aboard the vessel Rickmers Dalian at anchorage off the port of Lavrion in Greece. The shipment was then delivered to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, on behalf of an Italian yacht forwarding company.
The loading process was carried utilizing the Rickmers Dalian’s own 640-tonne lisfting gear units and its adjustable tween decks. The 30,000 deadweight-tonne ship is one of nine “Superflex Heavy MPC (Multi Purpose Carriers)”-Class vessels owned and operated by Rickmers-Linie.
Rickmers-Linie specializes in breakbulk, heavy-lift and project cargoes, and deliveries for large-scale projects and is a subsidiary of German maritime firm Rickmers Group.
The firm is one of the largest breakbulk shippers worldwide and has wide-ranging experience transporting oversized and overweight cargoes for the energy, construction and petrochemical industries.
